Karen Killick

Karen-KillickI have worked as a solicitor for all my professional life in the North East and love this area.

I joined DMA Law in 2008 and work part-time in our Darlington office and the Law Link too.

I believe one of the most important things you can do in life to help yourself and your family is to have an up to date will and also a Lasting Power of Attorney. It can relieve so much stress at a difficult time for the family through illness or bereavement.

I am also passionate about assisting the over fifties with anything that is a concern to them, whether it is making a lasting power of attorney or a will, concerns about the care of relatives in a care home, payment of care home fees, or any related matter. I can advise and act for you in relation to probate matters after a death.

Outside of work, I am one of the Church Wardens at our local very lively Anglican church,  which is both a responsibility and a joy and never ever boring!

I love cooking, whether for a few friends at home or in a team for sixty plus people at the community lunch club.

I am at my happiest within the sound of the waves, and a seaside holiday is always my first choice!
