Janice Short
I am a Chartered Legal Executive (qualified in 1996). I joined the firm in 2008 and work in the Family Department dealing with all aspects of matrimonial and family work. I obtained Resolution accreditation in 2012, specialising in Private Children Law and Domestic Abuse.
Outside of work I am the secretary of The Friends of Houghton Hillside Cemetery, a volunteer group which maintains and restores the cemetery and promotes the history of the site and also assists others in genealogy. In addition, I am secretary of the local workingmen’s club in the village where I live.
I am also an avid football fan of Sunderland AFC.
