James Burnett joined our Litigation Department and is an experienced solicitor with over 25 years practice in commercial and civil litigation, he qualified in 1993 and has since worked in London, Brussels, the midlands before coming back home to roost in the North East.
James’ experience includes all aspects of Commercial Litigation, Professional Negligence, Construction Disputes, Property Disputes as well as specialising in Probate, Trusts, Land Disputes he also offers advice on Disputed Wills, Inheritances, and Conflicts over land. James possesses excellent communication and client care skills, he maintains a strong belief in taking time to look after his clients.
In his spare time he is a member of the Hurworth Gents Cricket Club not so much for the cricket which is difficult at the moment with only one good hand (horse kick) but for the beer afterwards, he also enjoys horse riding (one handed), playing tennis, skiing and when feeling less energetic European architecture, travel, culture and food. James has Italian to degree standard, good conversational French and conversational German.
